DT Toolbar will work with Internet Explorer versions 6.0+ as well as Firefox 2.0+ versions.

How do I install the DAEMON Tools Toolbar?
You can install DT Toolbar in two ways: while installing DAEMON Tools Lite or download and install DT Toolbar itself from its homepage.

How do I “uninstall” the DT Toolbar?
Follow the easy instructions below to uninstall the DT Toolbar from your PC:
Windows Vista users:
1) press on “Start” and select “Control Panel”;
2) select “Programs and Features” item;
3) select “DAEMON Tools Toolbar” group;
4) push on “Uninstall/Change”;
5) follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process;
6) restart browser when uninstallation is complete.
or
Windows XP users:
1) press on “Start” and select “Control Panel”;
2) select “Add or Remove Programs” item;
3) select “DAEMON Tools Toolbar” group;
4) push on “Change/Remove”;
5) follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process;
6) restart browser when uninstallation is complete.

What are the system requirements for installing DT Toolbar?
All you need is Internet Explorer version 6.0+. If you use Firefox browser — it should be 2.0+ version.

Does the DAEMON Toolbar track where I go on the Internet?
NO, the DT Toolbar does not monitor or report any data about where you are traveling or what you do on Web.

Is the DT Toolbar spyware?
NO, the DAEMON Tools Toolbar does not transmit any information in a manner that can identify a user (such as a name or an email address, ensuring complete anonymity for users). Unidentifiable statistics are sent to our system regarding usage of toolbar features. The statistics are completely anonymous and do not contain any personal identification. Toolbar users are allowed to disable statistical data transfer at any given time. We do not match individual users with their specific Web or toolbar usage and don’t share the specifics with anybody. How does DAEMON Tools Lite feature work?
If DT Lite is installed you will have access via toolbar “DAEMON Tools Lite” button to:

Mount’n’Drive Manager: Access your ISO images all from one place instead of having to browse through various directories.
Mount image: Mount selected image to the first virtual drive.
Unmount all: Unmount images from the all virtual drives.

Note: You will have no access to DAEMON Tools Lite features if this software is not installed on your PC. To make features available via DAEMON Tools Toolbar download for personal and non-commercial use or buy the virtual DVD-ROM emulator.

What does the Astroburn Lite button do?
If Astroburn Lite is installed you will have access via toolbar “Astroburn Lite” button to:

Burn Files: Select, arrange and manage files for CD, DVD, Blu-ray data disc burning.
Burn Image: Select or just drag an image file and drop it into the program's tab then press on “Start Burn” button.

Note: You will have no access to Astroburn Lite features if this software is not installed on your PC. To make features available via DAEMON Tools Toolbar download free or buy full version.

What is Products?
Products button allows you to visit homepages, read online manuals, communicate with DAEMON Tools users on products’ Forums.
You can also download free or trial versions, buy full versions and send a feedback to our support team.

What is News?
With News button you get quick access to news headlines on DAEMON Tools forum. One click will redirect you to the page where you can read the selected announcement text. Read the latest DAEMONS Home community posts, join and help DAEMON Tools become better for you!
You can also manage the topics: refresh, mark them as “Read” or “Unread”, delete all items.

How do I delete my search history?
To clear your search history from the drop-down text box in DAEMON Tools Toolbar, click on the arrow and select the “Clean history” option. This will clear all the previous searches from the drop-down menu.

How to customize Weather gadget?
Click on “Add” button to set a new location. Type in a city name, press on a “Search” button and select a needed one from search results list. You can choose whether to show temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Add several locations and switch between them with “Change” button.
Find out what weather is right now behind your window as well as a forecast for the next 3 or 5 days. Weather gadget provides US citizens with web camera photos, news, alerts and air quality information.
You can refresh weather information at any time and delete locations that are no longer needed.

How to customize Radio player?
With DT Toolbar radio player you could listen to your favourite radio stations, regulate volume power, easily navigate through radio stations list, add currently playing station to the list and change its settings. Search for stations by janres, add, edit, delete them. Select the ones you like from wide variety of janres and enjoy music listening!

How to customize Time gadget?

What is IP-lookup?
With IPlookup Tool you can get current or any entered IP address information that includes some significant facts about a country and a city, corresponding Google Map data and your connection information.

How do I translate words with DT Toolbar?
Just type in a word or text for translation, choose “from” and “to” languages and click on “Translate” button. Lots of languages are offered to choose from in this handy and simple gadget.

Customizing

Can I hide DT Toolbar on my browser?
You can hide the DT Toolbar by doing the following:
1) Go to the “View” menu at the top of your browser;
2) Select “Toolbars”;
3) Click on “DAEMON Tools Toolbar” to hide; click again to unhide.

How do I move my Toolbar?
As on Internet Explorer 6.0+ toolbars are locked by default the separator icon will not appear, and the toolbars will be immobile, until you right click on the toolbars and uncheck “Lock the Toolbars”.
Than to move your Toolbar, simply click on the separator bar to the left of the DAEMON Tools button and drag the DT Toolbar to the desired location.
Note: You can not unlock toolbar in FireFox browser.

How can I customize DT Toolbar?
Toolbar Config menu allows to customize your DT Toolbar.
In “Buttons” section:

Activate / Deactivate DAEMON Toolbar buttons;
Move DT Toolbar items and arrange them in convenient order pressing on “Up” and “Down”;
Restore buttons order and settings to default clicking on “Default”.

In “Advanced settings” section:

Manage Button text labels;
Customize how search results should be displayed (in current, new window or browser tab);
Define how toolbar links will open;
Choose whether to hide or not the search button.
